Choosing an acrylic business logo sign starts with its construction. A printed panel, individually cut letters, a 3D printed body with an acrylic face, and a raised logo on an acrylic backing panel create different results. For a reception wall, salon or shop, decide how you want the logo, background and lighting to work together before selecting a size.
Compare the four acrylic logo sign formats
1. UV printed acrylic logo: full-colour artwork on a panel
A UV printed acrylic business logo sign places your design on a flat acrylic panel with standoff mounting; use the selected product listing for its available thicknesses. This is a useful starting point when you want full-colour artwork and a defined panel behind the design.
The printed logo sits within the panel dimensions. Consider the background colour, the space around the artwork and the mounting positions together. The panel remains part of the finished appearance, so include it when visualizing the sign on your wall.
2. Individually cut 3D acrylic letters: separate solid pieces
This format uses individually cut acrylic letters and logo elements, with no rectangular or square backing panel. The wall is visible between the separate pieces. Available acrylic thicknesses are 3mm, 6mm and 12mm, and the pieces are installed using special adhesive.
Choose this approach when your priority is a dimensional logo arranged directly on the wall. Discuss the surface and layout before ordering. For a custom project, start with a 3D lettering enquiry.
3. 3D printed body with an acrylic face: with or without LED
This construction combines a 3D printed body with an acrylic face. It is a different build from letters cut entirely from solid acrylic sheet. Both non-illuminated and LED options can be discussed for your custom logo.
If lighting is part of your plan, request confirmation of the intended illuminated appearance, overall depth, power arrangement and mounting details. Share a reference image to explain the effect you want, and have the team confirm which features apply to your design.
4. Raised logo on an acrylic backing panel: a layered composition
Here, a raised logo is combined with an acrylic backing panel. The backing is a visible part of the composition, while the logo adds dimension above it. Optional illumination is also available for this separate product family.
Consider this format when you want both raised elements and a defined background. Confirm the backing shape, colour and dimensions alongside the logo layout. If choosing illumination, ask how it will be incorporated into the quoted design.
Choose by appearance, then confirm the practical details
- Full-colour graphics on a panel: begin with UV printed acrylic.
- Separate raised pieces with open space between them: consider individually cut solid acrylic.
- A built-up body and acrylic face: discuss the 3D printed option, with or without LED.
- A raised logo with a visible background: consider the acrylic backing-panel format.
For each option, share your artwork, installation location, wall surface and desired overall dimensions. Our logo sign sizing and artwork guide explains how to distinguish panel dimensions from total logo width.
