A personalized mirror can combine a reflective surface with printed names, a business logo or decorative artwork. Before requesting a quote, decide which areas should remain reflective and which should carry the printed design. At PrintMastery, mirror-printing projects require a custom quote; a standard online mirror product is not currently available to buy.
Mirror printing is different from a mirror-coloured acrylic sign
Tell us whether you mean printing on a glass mirror, using mirror-finish acrylic, or reproducing a metallic-looking colour in printed artwork. These are different constructions. A printed gold colour is not the same as reflective gold mirror material or metallic foil.
Decide how much reflection you want to keep
A small logo or names can leave much of the mirror visible, while a larger printed panel covers more of the reflective area. Mark the areas that must stay clear or reflective in your artwork instructions. If opacity, white ink or colour matching matters, ask for those details to be confirmed in the quote.
Prepare the wording and layout
For a wedding or event mirror, provide names, date, welcome wording or the complete guest list and table numbers. Copy the final text into a readable document and check the spelling before sending it. Specify the mirror dimensions, orientation and the area available for printing, allowing for any frame.
For a business mirror, send the original logo and exact wording, plus the intended room and viewing distance. Fine lettering and small details need to be assessed at the finished size.
What to include in your quote request
- Mirror material, dimensions, shape and any frame details.
- Whether you already own the mirror or need a supplied panel.
- Artwork files, exact wording and preferred colours.
- Areas that must remain reflective.
- Quantity, intended use and mounting or display arrangement.
- Pickup or delivery location and the required date.
Do not ship or bring a customer-supplied mirror until we have confirmed its suitability and handling arrangements. Existing coatings, surface condition and dimensions may affect whether the project can be accepted.
Proof approval and installation
Review the digital proof for spelling, layout, margins and artwork coverage before approving production. A screen proof shows the design layout; it cannot reproduce a physical mirror’s reflection or exact appearance under room lighting. Confirm the material and finish separately.
Ask what is included in the quote. Frames, easels, stands, delivery and installation should be agreed rather than assumed. The panel weight and the display location must be considered when choosing a support.
Care and suitable locations
Follow the instructions supplied for the mirror and printed surface. Avoid scraping the printed area or applying unapproved cleaning chemicals. Describe exposure to moisture, sunlight or heat before ordering. A decorative printed mirror should not be assumed suitable for every wet area, outdoor location or architectural installation.
